‘Last Generation’
Luke 16:22-23 So it was that
the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man
also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes
and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
The final reward for Lazarus, the faithful servant of God is the bosom
of Abraham, which is equivalent to the reward of crown for kings. For the
merciless rich man it will be the fire of Hades. Our Lord taught us in great
details of the signs of His coming up to rapture in Mat 24, and then how He
will judge us according to our faithfulness by our works. Please read Mat
24:45-25:46 concerning His judgments.
Faithful servant feeds the
sheep
Mat 24:45-47 “Who then is a
faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to
give them food in due season Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he
comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler
over all his goods.”
God’s faithful servant cares and feeds His servants and sheep with physical food and truth from the word of God.
Faithful servant makes
disciples
Mat 25:20-23 “So he who had
received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you
delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides
them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were
faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into
the joy of your lord.’ “He also who had received two talents came and said,
‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents
besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant;
you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many
things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ “
God’s faithful servant will always make disciples. By keeping His words,
he will be able to love his brethren and even lay down his life for them. He
will be able to teach them the truth and guide them to keep His words, so that
just like him, the Lord will baptize them with the Holy Spirit or Sprit of
truth.
John 14:15-16, 26 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will
pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with
you forever — ... But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in
My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things
that I said to you.”
Faithful servant filled with
love
Mat 25:37-40 “Then the
righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed
You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You
in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and
come to You?’ “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to
you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did
it to Me.’ ”
God’s faithful servant is filled with love, mercy and compassion: Feed
the hungry, give water to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the sick, and
visit those in prison.
Luke 16:14-15 Now the
Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they
derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before
men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an
abomination in the sight of God.”
Depraved Christian leaders who love money will justify their greed with the Prosperity Gospel thus corrupting the sheep.
