Be Faithful (LG32)

‘Last Generation’
Luke 16:10-12 “He who [is] faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in [what is] least is unjust also in much. Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?”
    Our Lord referred to earthly wealth and money as unrighteous mammon because it will always cause mankind and Christians to sin.
    If we rearrange all those which we are unfaithful/unjust together, then this will read as follows;

If you have not been faithful to the least or unrighteous mammon or which is another man’s....

Our Lord warned us that the least important gift/thing in our lives is money. It cannot help us to be holy nor overcome the deceptions of the devil but causes us to sin. Moreover, it belongs to Him (which is another man’s).

1 Tim 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
    We are only steward of the unrighteous mammon. He has blessed us and we must use it according to His will. That is to meet the needs of all His various ministries such as missions, charitable homes for children, the aged, the destitute and the needy. Please do not hoard it up in bank, stocks, properties, etc. otherwise you will be accused of stealing/robbing God or laying up treasures on earth.

Similarly, if you have been faithful to His unrighteous mammon, then God will give you the true riches (baptism of the Spirit of truth) which is your own.
John 14:15-17 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”
    When we love Him by keeping His commandments, then we are truly His faithful servants and He will baptize us with the Spirit of truth who will abide in us. He will then guide us into all truth to set us free from bondages and to overcome the deceptions of the devil. He will also tell/show us our future and teach us endtime prophecies.
    John 16.13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

Luke 11:13 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
    When we ask our Lord for the baptism of the Holy Spirit instead of worldly blessings, prosperity, happiness, success, etc. He will baptize us with the spirit of truth if we love Him by keeping His words.

Mat 24:45-46 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.”
    When our Lord has blessed us with money/ wealth (unrighteous Mammon), as faithful servants, we must send them to feed and help our fellow brethren in the mission fields, charitable homes, etc. But when He has baptized with His Spirit of truth, we must teach our brethren the truth in order to help them to be set free from carnality and worldliness, and also the understanding of His words including endtime prophecies.
