Serve God - Not Mammon (LG33)

               'Last Generation'

Luke 16:13 "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."
Once we understand and accept that God owns all the mammon under our care, and that we are only His stewards, then we do not have any more worries. When we love God and understand His will, then we will hate mammon for it has deceived us and has given many brethren sleepless nights, fears, worries, heartaches, pains, doubts in God's words and it has also caused them to commit all types of sin.
When we serve God, He becomes our Master and He alone decides the amount of Mammon to provide for each of us. We must be faithful in dispensing this mammon to the needs of His numerous ministries, thus making mammon the servant (and not the master) in financing all the ministries.

Luke 16:24 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him.
But covetous Christians, who steal and rob God of His mammon by keeping them as their own personal wealth will reject this truth and will then persecute all Bible believing Christians.

Luke 16:15 And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God."
Mammon is only a tool or a servant given by God to help serve His ministries, but unfortunately covetous Christians made it their master and lord and some even worship it as their god, thus making it an abomination in the sight of God.

James 5:1-5 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter.
The word of God is clear, warning us not to heap up treasures in the last days. World War 3 will wipe out everything we have and this will eat into our flesh like fire. The richer we are, the more painful it will be. On top of that, multimillionaires will have to give an account of why they have hoarded unrighteous mammon from His ministries and good works. Just like the evil servants, they enrich only themselves.
Mat 24:48 "But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

2 Tim 3:1-2 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.
Unfortunately, in the last days unbelieving Christians, just like the Pharisees, will become lovers of money, unaware that they will be paupers during World War 3.
