‘Last Generation’
Luke 17:28-29 “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot:
They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it
rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.”
What were the
deadly sins of Sodom and Gomorrah that cause God to annihilate them?
Gen 19:4-5 Now before they lay down, the men of the
city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter,
surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the
men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”
The people of Sodom were sodomites or
homosexuals. Sodomy is an abomination to the Lord and a sin that leads to
death. It was an unpardonable sin in the OT.
Lev 20:13 ‘If a man lies with a male as he lies with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to
death. Their blood shall be upon them.’
Today, the West who were former Christian
nations have approved sodomy and anyone who does not accept sodomy is against
human rights and will be charged. These two decades, gay parades worldwide
publicly display their debased and shameful lust. Since the last decade, we
even have gay and lesbian bishops, pastors and leaders publicly boasting of
their depraved homosexuality. We are now living in a legalized gay community
with same sex marriage just as in the days of Lot. God will destroy the West just like Sodom.
Why single out Sodomy
Rom 1:24-27 Therefore God also gave them up to
uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among
themselves, who exchanged the truth of
God for the lie, andworshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator,
who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile
passions. For even their women exchanged
the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the men, leaving the
natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men
committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their
error which was due.
God purposely ensure that we can recognized
all these depraved, wicked liars who suppress truth by making them to commit
debased sodomy.
Rom 1:28-29 And even as they did not like to retain God
in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things
which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual
immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder,
strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,..
Because they are sodomites, they are always
filled with sexual immorality,
deceit, inventors of evil things, unmerciful.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities
about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going
after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.
They go after strange flesh like sodomy,
bestiality, incest, and that was the very reason why God wanted all the
Canaanites human hybrids killed.
Lev 18:22-24 ‘You shall not lie with a male as with a
woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile
yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it.
It is perversion. Do not defile
yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled,
which I am casting out before you.
