Last Days (3) - False Teachers (LG41)

2 Pet 2:1  But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

In the olden days, false prophets misled the Israelites to worship idols and the misled Levites, who were the spiritual leaders and teachers were judged by God.

Eze 44:10-14  “And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them. Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have raised My hand in an oath against them,” says the Lord God, “that they shall bear their iniquity. And they shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed. Nevertheless I will make them keep charge of the temple, for all its work, and for all that has to be done in it.

Similarly, all pastors and church leaders who are misled in these last days cannot come before God nor minister to Him. Thus, they will not be able to receive direct revelation from Him and truth is far from them. In darkness, they will then begin to teach all types of heresies and distorted truth. Their prayers, requests and petitions also will not be heard.

Proverbs 15:8  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

However, they are allowed to minister to man, and because of this you can see all types of lies, deceptions, heresies, worldly wisdom and showmanship on the pulpits. Soon, judgment will be upon these false teachers unless they repent.

Brethren, reject all these distorted truth and heresies. Trust and obey the Lord and His word and (just like Zadok) we will be able to come before God and serve Him in holiness.

Eze 44:15-16  “But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord God. “They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.
