‘Last Generation’
Rom 11:20, 23 Well said. Because of unbelief they were
broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear... And they
also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able
to graft them in again.
Because of
unbelief, they crucified the Messiah, our Lord Jesus. The Jews were cut off as
the people of God, for the religious leaders then were blinded with money and
they were actually serving mammon and not God.
Luke 16:14-15 Now
the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they
derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before
men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an
abomination in the sight of God.”
Rom 11:25-26 For I do not desire, brethren, that you
should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own
opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of
the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from
Jacob;”
So, Israel will be
blinded until rapture when the period of grace for the Gentiles is over. They
will not be able to appreciate the faithfulness of Yahweh nor His words and
promises.
1. At Jesus’ death, a great earthquake tore the temple veil
signifying the departure of Yahweh from the temple – ending Judaism, feasts,
sacrifices.
2. Devout Jews coming to Jerusalem for the feasts were saved
and brought the gospel back.
3. The destruction of Jerusalem and temple forced the
Israelites to ‘Diaspora’ for salvations in their new foreign homes.
4. British PM, a Christian of Jewish origin, Benjamin
Disraeli, allowed all Jews to immigrate to Palestine (under British rule) the
sign of God calling them to ‘Aliyah’ back.
5. God’s faithful deliverance in 1948 from its surrounding
powerful enemies to form new nation.
The Kingdom of David
In 1967, Yahweh delivered Israel by fighting against the
huge military powers of the surrounding Arab nations. After this six-day war,
God handed the promised land to the Israelites so that they could rebuild the
kingdom of Israel to its former glory like King David. But Israel feared the
West and UN, and submitted to their demands. They rebelled against God by
stopping Jerusalem, the Holy city of God from being its capital. With so many
miracles, the Jews were just as faithless as those in the days of Moses.
Deu 1:29-33 “Then
I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. ‘The LORD your God, who
goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in
Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your
God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until
you came to this place.’ Yet, for all that, you did
not believe the LORD your God, who went in the way before you to search out
a place for you to pitch your tents, to show you the way you should go, in the
fire by night and in the cloud by day.”
Brethren, since Israel rebelled against God, God made them
wonder in the wilderness all these years. In 1993, they signed the PLO-Israel
Peace Treaty and gave Gaza strip and part of West Bank away, approved sodomy,
allowed gay parades, etc. Today, Israeli PM, cabinet members, religious leaders
and Israelites are blind and hypocrites (not Jews) for they do not believe
Moses nor Yahweh, otherwise they are already Christians.
John 5:46 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe
Me; for he wrote about Me.”
