Rev 3:21 “To him who
overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat
down with My Father on His throne”
Whoever can
overcome the sins committed by the Laodicean church, he can sit with our Lord
on His throne to become a king. Just try to imagine how you can become a king
in your own state or country. It is an impossible dream.
Only the royalties
qualify to become the king and even among the royalties, only the eldest son or
the most suitable candidate is made the king. We thank God our heavenly Father,
for He has made us to be His sons in Christ Jesus so that we have this
opportunity to be a king in the kingdom of heaven.
Psalm 89:14 Righteousness
and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your
face.
Brethren, only
those who are completely righteous and just can sit on His throne. Also, he
must be found to be full of mercy and truth. With the help of the Holy Spirit
it will not be difficult, if only we are willing and also have the faith to see
Him slowly transforming us into His image.
1 Cor 9:24 Do you not
know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in
such a way that you may obtain it.
In this world, we
have to compete against one another causing strife, hatred, contention,
jealousy, in order to receive the crown.
2 Tim 4:8 Finally,
there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to
all who have loved His appearing.
We thank God that
we are not competing against one another to receive the crown but to encourage
one another to hate the sins, snares and things of this world until we love His
appearing.
Rev 17:14 “These will
make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of
lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and
faithful.”
We thank our Lord
Jesus Christ the Lamb of God, that He is the King of kings and Lord of lords so
that we can become one of His many kings or lords, who are the called, chosen,
and faithful.
1 Cor 6:3 Do you not
know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this
life?
Brethren, let us
encourage one another to forsake worldly riches and reach out to the eternal
reward of becoming His kings to help Him rule over all His subjects including
angels. To God be the glory.
Rev 3:10-12a “Because
you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of
trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the
earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may
take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My
God, and he shall go out no more.”
All those who have
kept His commands and have persevered, these too will receive the crowns to
become kings. They will be found worthy and do not need further trials
especially the great Tribulation.
Luke 21:34-36 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your
hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and
that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who
dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you
may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to
stand before the Son of Man.”
