'Last Generation’
Luke 16:10 “He who is faithful
in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is
least is unjust also in much.
Luke 16:11 “Therefore if you
have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust
the true riches?
Luke 16:12 “And if you have not
been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
If we arrange the unjust and
unfaithful together, then we have: He who is unfaithful to what is least
and the unrighteous mammon which belongs to God (another man’s)
then
He will also be unfaithful to
‘much’. God will not give him true riches which is his.
Unfaithful Christians who are
hoarding unrighteous mammon instead of releasing the money to His ministries
are actually serving mammon.
Luke 16:13-15 “No servant can
serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else
he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and
mammon.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these
things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify
yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly
esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
Those days, many Jewish leaders were covetous and today most Christian
leaders are covetous and they justify themselves with wrong doctrines,
deceptions and heresies.
Those who love Jesus
John 11:5 Now Jesus loved
Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
For our Lord Jesus to love Lazarus, he must have loved the Lord by
keeping His word and commandments. So Lazarus has been faithfully distributing
the unrighteous mammon that is money put under his care to the poor, needy,
destitute, instead of hoarding it in bank, stocks and properties.
John 14:21 “He who has My
commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be
loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
The True Riches
Because Lazarus loved our Lord
Jesus and had been faithfully distributing the unrighteous mammon which belongs
to God, God will give Lazarus true riches which belongs to Lazarus
John 14:15-17 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And
I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide
with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because
it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and
will be in you.”
Because Lazarus loved Jesus, our Lord Jesus will give (baptize) him with
another helper, the Holy Spirit (Spirit of truth). This Holy Spirit belongs to
him and will abide in him forever. This is the true riches for the Spirit of
truth dwelling within us:
1. teach us all things;
2. remember Jesus words;
3. guide us into all truth;
4. understand endtime
prophecies.
John 14:26; 16:13 “But the
Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach
you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you...
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all
truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He
will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
Luke 11:13 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
