‘Last Generation’
Mat 24:45-47 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant,
whom his master made ruler over his household,
to give them food in due season?
Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes,
will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over
all his goods.”
The faithful and
wise servant loves his Master and spends a lot of time reading the bible in
order to understand Him. To know His likes, dislikes, habits, plans, character,
desires, attributes, ways and will so that he can please Him in all his works,
ways and belief.
Acts 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in
Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched
the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
Just like the
Bereans, if only Christians today sincerely seek His face and truth by spending
time reading the Bible instead of books or watching ungodly TV, then heresies
and deceptions will not be so rampant in churches.
John 15:14 “You are My friends if you do whatever I
command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what
his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I
heard from My Father I have made known to you.”
God promised us
that if we obey His commands then we will become His friends and He will teach
and guide him into all truth and also the endtime mysteries. So, when the year 2000
had passed, His friends were not affected for they were only looking forward to
the next sign the fourth Seal or World War 3.
2 Pet 1:2-12,16 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in
the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us
all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who
called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly
great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the
divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through
lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith
virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control
perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and
to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you
will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness,
and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren,
be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do
these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you
abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For
this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things,
though you know and are established in the present truth... For we did not
follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
God promised us
that we may be partakers of His divine nature if we observe carefully all His
teachings. The entrance to His everlasting kingdom will be wide opened to His
faithful and wise servants, who are obedient to His words and will. Memorize
the whole chapter of 1 Pet 1 to help guide you into godliness.
Brethren, let’s be His faithful and wise servants by
equipping ourselves so that we can give them food in due season with His
truth from the pure word of God.
