'Last Generation'
Rev 3:18a I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich;
For this Laodicean church, our Father insisted that they must buy from Him. Have you ever seen a father telling his child to pay for the food he consumes at home? Brethren, can you see how much this endtime churches are hurting our Father, the Almighty God.
Acts 8:20 But Peter said to him, "Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
So, when Simon, an ex-sorcerer wanted to purchase the gift of God, he was accursed.
Everything from God is free, such as salvation, spiritual gifts, anointing, peace, joy and love, forgiveness, helps, miracles, healings, and many more.
Luke 12:15 And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."
Nowadays, many Christians and churches have coveted, stole or robbed God of His riches and wealth by hoarding them by investing in banks, shares, properties which are against His command 'not to lay treasures on earth'. God realized that He has no say over it for it doesn't belong to Him anymore. So God insists on these churches using money to buy from Him treasures in heaven (refined gold).
Here, He is showing these miserable, wretched and wicked endtime Christians and churches the ways of repentance, so that He can reward them with great honours and be eternally rich in heaven. Oh! what a loving and merciful Father we have. Hallelujah.
Luke 12:19-21 And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry." But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?' So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
Luke 12:33-34 "Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys."
To show our repentance and obedience, all we need to do is to sell everything except the basic needs that the church owns. Send the proceeds to worldwide missions, poor churches, and Christian charitable homes, so that we are once again members of the body of Christ and then we will be rich and have treasures in heaven.
Mat 16:26 "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"
Warnings to End-time Christians
James 5:1-6 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.
God warned End-time Christians
1. not to heap up treasures on earth in the last days
2. to beware that labourers are fairly treated and they are not crying to the Lord for low and unfair salaries
3. not to waste God's money pleasuring themselves and living in luxury
4. to ensure that faithful and godly Christians (just) are respected, and are not persecuted, reviled and destroyed by false testimonies.
Our Father in heaven, forgive us of our selfishness and wickedness. Forgive us for hurting you so much all the time. Let us weep along with You for the anguish we have caused. We do not deserve your love and mercies. Help us to bear the fruit of repentance and come back to Your fold again. In Jesus name we pray.
