‘Last Generation’
Rev 3:17-20 “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become
wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable,
poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to... anoint your eyes with eye salve,
that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be
zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone
hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and
he with Me.”
Our Lord is now
standing in front of your door and can you hear His knocking? If you cannot, then
you are still doubtful, confused, blind and busy in your unproductive works
based on worldly wisdom just like the rebellious Levites.
Eze 44:10-14 “And the Levites who went far from Me, when
Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear
their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of
the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and
the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to
them. Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house
of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have raised My hand in an oath
against them,” says the Lord God, “that they shall bear their iniquity. And they
shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My
holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame
and their abominations which they have committed. Nevertheless, I will make
them keep charge of the temple, for all its work, and for all that has to be
done in it.”
Pastors and fellow
church leaders, unless there is true repentance, you will not be able to come
before God and minister to Him. Without His presence, you will be in total
darkness. In these last days, those church and Christian leaders who are still
serving mammon which is an idolatry, will resort to worldly wisdom. They will
attract big followings whose itching ears love the plentiful blessings and
grace while they are living in sinful lifestyles.
Ezek 44:15-16, 23 “But the priests, the Levites, the sons
of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went
astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand
before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord God. “They shall
enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and
they shall keep My charge.”... “And they shall teach My people the difference
between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean
and the clean.”
True and faithful
servants, who obey and keep His word, commands, and teachings and only fear Him
will be able to hear God’s voice. They will be able to impart His truth and
life to His sheep. Unfortunately, many prefer lies, deceptions and heresies.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone
loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come
to him and make Our home with him.”
Our Father God
wants to dine with us and re- establish the father and son’s relationship
again, then, we can rest assured that His peace, joy, and love will always
guide and comfort us. We need to repent of covetousness, worldliness, and from
the distorted truth, heresies, and worldly wisdom and then start keeping His
teachings and words.
