'Last Generation'
Brethren, if we call the Almighty God, Abba Father, then we are truly His children (Rom 8:15-17).
1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
God will empower His children to overcome the Devil and the world.
1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Job 1:9-10 So Satan answered the Lord and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
If Job, a righteous man, was fully protected from the Devil, then how much more we are protected, who are His children, so that the Devil cannot even touch nor harm us.
Job 1:12 And the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person."
When God allowed the Devil to have power over Job's belonging, he immediately destroyed Job's health, possessions, wealth and all his children. Just imagine what will happen to you if the Devil has power over you.
Job 2:6-7 And the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life." So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
Similarly, the Devil cannot hurt our businesses, possessions and properties nor harm our physical bodies without God's approval.
2 Chron 7:13-14 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
It is a shame and a great mistake to glorify the Devil by blaming him for all our miseries. Actually, he has no power over us, when it is God, Who is chastising or purifying us.
Jude 1:8-10 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.
When we glorify the devil, we are actually blaming him for things he did not do. God is extremely unhappy that His rebellious children have brought against the devil reviling accusations. God call them 'rebellious, dreamers, revilers, brute beasts, despisers of authority.
Brethren, let's honour God and give Him all the respect and glory, for He alone controls our lives.
2 Pet 2:10-13 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.
